Super Smash Bros 4 - Waddle Dee

With Kirby's return to Smash Bros, why not bring in another character from Kirby's Return to Dreamland? Since we already have Meta Knight, King Dedede, and the titular Kirby, the only character left is little Waddle Dee.

Waddle Dee would probably be the first Kirby character to not have a multi-jump and his play-style would probably include lots of fake-out moves that look very similar to one another.

Standard B - Spear Throw. He-are you ready for this?-he throws... a spear. OMG-WTF-BBQ. But, in all seriousness, he throws a spear in a similar way to Yoshi's Egg Throw. It can be charged and aimed.

Side B - Triple Throw. He-are you ready for this?-he throws... three spears! OMG-WTF-In all seriousness, this is where the trickiness of Waddle Dee appears; it looks exactly the same as Spear Throw but fires faster, releases three faster but less damaging spears, and can be charged just like Spear Throw. Tricky.

Up B - Spear Copter. He spins his spear fast enough to fly into the air. It would probably be one of the better recovery moves and the spear would damage anything that came into contact with it. It can be charged, again, just like Spear Throw.

Down B - Moon Drop. He twirls his spear around his body, striking for minimal damage, and then smashing the ground to release a shockwave. In midair, it has Waddle Dee shoot down quickly after the twirl. It is similar to Kirby's Stone ability and can be charged just like Spear Throw.

Final Smash - Walk of the Waddle Dees. Waddle Dees. Lots of Waddle Dees. Lots of them. With spears. Lots and lots of Waddle Dees with spears. I don't even know what they'd do, just that there would be lots of Waddle Dees. With spears.




Honestly, I would play the hell out of Waddle Dee. The Spear ability is right up there with the Whip when I think of my favorite powers in Return to Dreamland.
